Key Responsibilities:
- The Merchandising Specialist supposrt the store leadership team by executing strategies that consistently meet and exceed company standards. The Merchandising Specialist drives the efficient execution of company defined best practices through the shipment process. The Merchandising Specialist also ensures a seamless customer experience, models service, behaviors, drives productivity, sales and profitability. The Merchandise Specialist is responsible for executing the merchandising plan developed by the ASMM in accordance with the Book. The Merchandising Specialist ensures the implementation and integrity of merchandise presentation and brand standards in order to provide the best customer experience. This position owns specific assigned department(s) and supports the ongoing visual aesthetics of the store. The Merchandising Specialist is cross-trained in all work centers to best support store needs at any time. This Specialist has keys and can open the building to begin the shipment process, but should not be the only Leader in the store during open hours for more than three hours per shift. The Merchandising Specialist can also close the building, but should never be the closing Leader during peak times.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Excellent merchandising skills, with attention to detail. Ability to understand and interpret HQ visual merchandising tools and direction. Demonstrates passion for customer service. Excellent delegation and follow-up skills.
