Pet Friendly

Lucy is a 5-year-old cattle dog, hound and terrier mix. She loves long walks with her family, her blankets, play dates with her puppies, and will do just about anything for a treat!

The Urbanc family adopted Lucy 3 years ago from TRAIN (a local rescue group). They had been wanting a dog for awhile, but were waiting for just the right fit. When they saw two puppies at their neighbors’ home, they knew they wanted to see the mother! They were given information on how to get in touch with TRAIN, only to find out she was heart worm positive, and she would have to be cleared before she could be adopted. But she was worth the wait!! When she was feeling better, they had a meet and greet, and knew right away she was their dog!!
